Participants with obesity had also a lower chance to achieve sustained remission as measured by CDAI (HR 0.68, 95% CI 0.50 to 0.93), SDAI (HR 0.63, 95% CI 0.46 to 0.87) and sustained DAS28-CRP <2.6 (HR 0.73, 95% CI 0.58 to 0.92) compared with participants with lower BMI (online supplemental figure 3 and online supplemental table 5). Here, CRP is linked to obesity disorder.
