Nineteen presented with ATTR CA (61%, familial in 4, all 19 treated with tafamidis), while the remaining 12 patients (39%) suffered with AL CA (myeloma, 1; lymphoma, 1; prostate neoplasm, 1; lambda light chains,9; kappa chains,2; unknown, 1). The gene discussed is TTR; the disease is plasma cell myeloma.
