F10 and stroke disorder: Current international guidelines as the European Stroke Organisation and the American Stroke Association/American Heart Association recommend oral anticoagulant (OAC) therapy with vitamin K antagonists (VKA) or direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs), such as direct thrombin (Dabigatran) and activated factor X inhibitors (Apixaban, Rivaroxaban and Edoxaban), for stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation or other major cardioembolic sources.
