LTBP2 and gastric cancer: Wang et al. (2022) indicated that knocking down LTBP2 can activate the p62-Keap1-Nrf2 pathway to promote ferroptosis in GC cells, thereby inhibiting GC progression. The studies above suggest that LTBP2 affects the cellular functionalities of GC, but its role and mechanism in chemoresistance are unclear. This study focused on the function of LTBP2 in chemotherapy resistance and how LTBP2 affects cisplatin resistance in GC cells. By analyzing GEO shared data (GSE191323 and GSE186205), we suggested that silencing LTBP2 might improve GC cisplatin sensitivity by inhibiting NF-κB2.
