NMTRasym (3.5 ppm) achieved AUC of 0.986 (95% CI, 0.918–1.00) in identifying with/without DF in patients with DM, which was higher than the other markers, such as MTRasym (3.5 ppm) in lesion (AUC of 0.965; 95% CI, 0.883–0.995), C-reactive protein (AUC of 0.942; 95% CI, 0.851–1.00), BF in lesion (AUC of 0.874; 95% CI, 0.764–0.945), and FBG (AUC of 0.745; 95% CI, 0.617–0.848) (Figure 6).
