In the infection with Pto, mkp1-1 mutation just reduced the susceptibility of NahG plants to the bacterium in NahG mkp1-1 line (Figure 6B) that showed an enhanced expression of PAD3 and CYP81F2, suggesting that regulation of MKP1 on Trp-derived metabolites pathway might explain NahG mkp1-1 reduced susceptibility phenotype (Figure 7B).
