We found that an AST/ALT ratio of >1.9 accelerated the incidence of adverse outcomes in the patients with HBV-associated advanced fibrosis or combined with coagulopathy (INR ≥1.5); whereas an AST/ALT ratio of >1.8 increased the risk of adverse outcomes in the patients with HBV-associated advanced fibrosis combined with severe jaundice. This evidence concerns the gene GPT and blood coagulation disease.
