Phase 2 dose‐finding and randomized, controlled Phase 3 trials reported that 12‐ and 24‐week pemafibrate (0.1 mg twice daily) administration decreased liver enzyme levels, ALT and γ‐GTP, in 36 and 73 patients with dyslipidemia (triglyceride ≥200 or 150 mg/dL and HDL‐C < 50 mg/dL), respectively, including those with mild liver injury (AST or ALT <2 times the upper limit of normal).29, 30. Here, GPT is linked to metabolic syndrome.
