Whereas, high levels of monocyte chemotactic protein–1 (MCP-1) (OR, 0.930; 95% CI, 0.866–0.999; P = 0.047) and TNF-α (OR, 0.892; 95% CI, 0.812–0.981; P = 0.018) were negatively associated with the risk of HD, and no correlation between inflammatory cytokines and HD was found after BH correction (Figure 3; Table 2).
