IL‐17A is a potent proinflammatory cytokine that promotes tumor progression through both direct and indirect mechanisms,22 and its impact has been studied in a plethora of cancer entities, including lung, pancreatic and ovarian carcinoma cells19, 23, 24, 25, 26 In OC, the role of IL‐17A remains controversial as potential anti‐tumor functions have also been reported.27, 28.
