In this study, we used a set of cell lines, including two melanoma cell lines HMCB and CHL1 (where UV is a major carcinogen), HeLa (cervical carcinoma cell line in which JUN expression was intensively studied) and MDA-MB-231 (breast cancer-TNBC; a cancer type in which JUN plays a significant role [27]). This evidence concerns the gene JUN and breast cancer.
