METTL3 or YTHDC1 overexpression inhibited cisplatin-induced ferroptosis, and FAM120A depletion rescued the inhibition of ferroptosis induced by METTL3 or YTHDC1 overexpression (Fig. 5e–h), indicating that METTL3 or YTHDC1 was related to cisplatin-induced ferroptosis in GC cells by regulating FAM120A expression.
