Poor growth was observed in 20% of cases, 6 (3 M/3F) associated with hypoglycaemia in 4 patients (3 M/1F) with IDDM, 3 patients (2 M/1F) had microcytic anaemia and 2 (1 M/1F) of them had stool frequency disorders (mainly constipation), 3 male patients were asymptomatic and 1 patient (F) with poor growth had also atopic dermatitis associated with a high IgE title ( see Fig. 4). This evidence concerns the gene IGHE and atopic eczema.
