MYC-rearrangements occur in various B-cell lymphomas (BCL) including, amongst others, Burkitt lymphoma (BL), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), and double-hit lymphoma (DHL), formally known as high-grade B-cell lymphoma (HGBCL) with MYC and BCL2 rearrangements (HGBCL-DH-BCL2), and HGBCL with MYC and BCL6 rearrangements (HGBCL-DH-BCL6) [1]. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is high grade B-cell lymphoma.
