Moreover, substituting the expression values of ASF1A and HJURP into the constructed two-gene model (RiskScore = 0.343 * ExpressionASF1A + 0.247 * ExpressionHJURP), the patients were divided into high-/low-risk groups based on the median risk score, and high-risk patients truly had a significantly worse prognosis (Fig. 6F), indicating that the two-gene model can accurately predict the prognosis of patients with HCC based on not only RNA levels but also proteins.
