SKP2 aberrations have been implicated in malignancies like acute myeloid leukemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia, multiple myeloma, primary effusion lymphoma, Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, extranodal natural killer (NK)/T-cell lymphoma, myeloproliferative diseases etc. (Figure 4), disrupting hematopoietic differentiation and fostering genomic instability. This evidence concerns the gene SKP2 and acute myeloid leukemia.
