Among the 719 TAEG (Fig 2B), on the other hand, PECAM1 was the most strongly associated with CAV1 (0.97<R<0.99) in cancer str of the CRC tumors (S6 Table according to R index), suggesting that CAV1 (12<cS/E<17) plays a critical role in tumor angiogenesis in the TME as previously shown [28, 29].
