In the current study, we found the elevations of mRNAs encoding M2 macrophage markers including Arg-1, Mrc1 (CD206), and M2 macrophages-related cytokines including IL-6, IL-10, TNF-β1, CCL22 and VEGFA in lung cancer offspring from PIE mice, while M1 macrophage markers (iNOS and CD86) were not affected, indicating that PIE induced macrophage polarization toward M2-like TAMs in lung cancer pups. Here, CD86 is linked to lung carcinoma.
