The trajectory of the time course analysis for cell number counts (Fig. 5E) and the estimation of cancer cell growth rate (Fig. 5F) showed a decrease in growth attributed to FGFR1 overexpression when compared to the vector control, indicating that FGFR1 overexpression can inhibit breast cancer cell proliferation by upregulating p21. Here, FGFR1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
