In multiple myeloma cells, the LXRs activation by GW3965 hydrochloride and LXR-623 agonists enhanced the NK cell-cytotoxicity activity by upregulating the NKG2D ligands such as MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence-A (MICA) and MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence-B (MICB) respectively. Here, MICA is linked to plasma cell myeloma.
