Subsequently, to explore the potential link between ELAVL2 and m6A modification, we employed siRNA to knockdown METTL3, an m6A writer, in ELAVL2-high GBM cells and observed the reduced mRNA expression levels of SH3GL3 and DNM3, suggesting the potential relevance of m6A modification in ELAVL2 function (Fig. 7c, d). The gene discussed is SH3GL3; the disease is glioblastoma.
