Contrary to traditional concepts, considering that Il1b and Tnf are crucial in inflammatory diseases, including periodontitis, we observed no significant changes in their expression in IP and AP (Supplementary Fig. 4d, 5), and showed that the Thy-1.2– fibroblast/stromal cell-derived RANKL and IL-6 in the PRT was more pronounced.
