In conclusion, we have confirmed that these 13 proteins (IFIH1, IFIT1, IFIT2, MX2, SAMHD1, GBP1, GBP2, PARP12, PARP14, HERC5, DDX60, RSAD2, and MNDA) were indeed overexpressed at the mRNA level as a consequence of both viral infections. The gene discussed is PARP12; the disease is viral infectious disease.
