Again, two NR1I2 gene SNPs that were beyond the scope of our study, namely rs7643645 and rs2461823, are believed to affect HNF binding sites and modulate the risk of anti-TB treatment-related hepatotoxicity and severity of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease [41,44,84]. The gene discussed is NR1I2; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
