Using only the cis-variant rs4988235 as the genetic instrument, the FinnGen dataset showed that genetically determined higher levels of LPH were associated with decreased odds of CRC (OR per SD higher normalized plasma abundance of LPH: 0.91 [95% CI, 0.88–0.95], p < 0.001) (Table S1).
