HLA-A and breast carcinoma: Contrary to previous results in lung, colon, and breast cancer cell lines [58], our data demonstrated gemcitabine upregulated transcripts of the light chain, (β2m), and heavy chains (HLA-A, HLA-B, and HLA-C), and that increases in both were also witnessed on the total protein level (more notably for HLA-B/C than HLA-A).
