Women with PCOS (all phenotypes) showed significantly higher serum levels of anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH, p < 0.001), luteinizing hormone (LH, p = 0.031), the LH/follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) ratio (p = 0.046), androstenedione (p < 0.001), total testosterone (TT, p < 0.001) and free testosterone (fTesto, p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene PLOD1 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
