In singleton pregnancies characterized by a heightened risk of pre-eclampsia or fetal growth restriction (FGR), as defined by maternal history and second-trimester uterine artery Doppler assessment, the sFlt-1/PlGF ratio at 24–28 weeks has emerged as a precise prognostic indicator for the occurrence of pre-eclampsia or FGR with an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.98 (0.97–1.00; 95% CI) [64].
