In individual measures of the three-point MACEs, GLP-1 RAs contributed to a reduction in risk of death from CV causes (hazard ratio: 0.87; 95% CI: 0.80–0.94; p = 0.0010), myocardial infarction (hazard ratio: 0.90; 95% CI: 0.83–0.98; p = 0.020), and stroke (hazard ratio: 0.83; 95% CI: 0.76–0.92; p = 0.0002). This evidence concerns the gene GLP1R and Stroke.
