Compared with the non-GLP-1 RA cohort, sex, comorbidities, medication, and psychological therapy were not significantly different except for the GLP-1 RA use cohort that had the lowest frequency of hyperlipidemia, metformin, and sulphonylurea use and higher use of meglitinides, antiarrhythmic drugs, and antidepressants (Table 1). The gene discussed is GLP1R; the disease is hyperlipidemia.
