An allogeneic anti-CD70 CAR-NK construct named CAT-248, with CRISP/Cas9-mediated knockout of CD70 to avoid fratricide [97] and secreted IL15 to facilitate persistence, has shown activity in vitro and in a xenograft RCC model where a >99% reduction in tumour burden was observed vs. controls (p < 0.01) [98].
