ACSL4 and ACSL5 were downregulated in the majority of lung cancer cell lines, except for an upregulated ACSL4 in H226, H2030, and H1975 and increased ACSL5 levels in COLO677, H322, H1650, and H1975, compared to the NHBE cells (Figure 1A). The gene discussed is ACSL5; the disease is lung carcinoma.
