Multivariate analysis showed that lower PRKAB2 gene expression was a significant independent prognostic factor for both overall survival (p = 0.006) and event-free survival (p = 0.003) when analyzed in combination with classic prognostic factors such as the patient’s age (greater or less than four years), tumor volume (greater or less than 200 cm3), tumor weight (greater or less than 100 g), and presence and absence of metastasis (Figure 3A,B).
