Using Cox univariate analysis, the following variables were selected as significantly associated with 540-day survival: bilirubin levels, presence of ascites, CTP score, MELD score, sarcopenia, ECOG-PS, AFP levels, presence of MVI, CLIP score, and PROSASH-II both as a continuous score and as categorized into 4 risk groups (Table 3A). Here, AFP is linked to sarcopenia.
