However our results are aligned with what was observed in the CHECKMATE 649 trial, in which patients with treatment-naïve, HER2-negative, unresectable gastric, gastro-esophageal, or esophageal adenocarcinoma were randomized to receive nivolumab plus chemotherapy (capecitabine and oxaliplatin every 3 weeks or leucovorin, fluorouracil, and oxaliplatin every 2 weeks) or chemotherapy alone. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and esophageal adenocarcinoma.
