A total of 2629 (27.4%) were classified as having dyslipidemia based on traditional lipid tests and/or ApoB results (any), while 1682 (17.5%) were identified as high-risk for CVD solely based on elevated ApoB levels (≥100 mg/dL) as their other traditional lipid parameters were within normal ranges. This evidence concerns the gene APOB and metabolic syndrome.
