Consistent with these findings, deletion of murine TRAIL-R, in a non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) using a KRAS-driven experimental model, was found to drastically impair metastasis, and this effect was associated with a loss of cell migration, proliferation and invasion [8].
