CRP and chronic kidney disease: CRP, whose MCiD was − 0.89, showed a significant drop (WMD − 2.46; 95%CI -4.21 to -0.72; P = 0.006) indicating a relief of the level of inflammation and the risk of cardiovascular complications in CKD patients after resistance exercise, which revealed resistance exercise can alleviate the inflammatory response of CKD and improve the prognosis of CKD patients.
