More recently, targeting CD47 by SIRPα-Fc fusion protein or monoclonal antibody combined with azacitidine showed reliable efficacy and safety in some malignant hematological tumors such as myelodysplastic syndrome, acute myeloid leukemia and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia in clinical trials [57–60]. This evidence concerns the gene CD47 and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia.
