Surviving hFCGR2A transgenic mice went on to develop increased lung vascular permeability responses compared with littermates that did not express hFCGR2A, indicating that, given time to develop, responses to FCGR2A engagement also exacerbate pulmonary edema (Supplemental Figure 3, I and J), as recently described in a similar model (30).
