In accordance with the criteria of MSCs defined by the International Society of Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT) (Dominici et al., 2006), UC-, BM-, and AD-MSCs were equally spindle-shaped, plastic-adherent cells positive for CD73, CD105, CD90, HLA-ABC, and CD44 and negative for CD45, HLA-DR, CD34, CD11b, and CD19 (Figure 1B). Here, CD34 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
