By integrating the PPI network (with AKT1 having the highest degree value), KEGG signaling pathway enrichment analysis (which identified AKT1 and MMP9 as being enriched in multiple signaling pathways, including those associated with atherosclerosis, AGE-RAGE, and TNF, all of which are closely linked to OP), and molecular docking analysis (which revealed the significant and strong binding ability of kaempferol to AKT1 and MMP9), it becomes apparent that AKT1 and MMP9 play a crucial role in the therapeutic effects of kaempferol against OP. Here, AKT1 is linked to atherosclerosis.
