Previous studies have demonstrated evidence from humans that C-reactive Protein (CRP), neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) are routinely available and emerging biomarkers that play important roles in HF-related inflammation, remodeling and fibrosis [3–5]. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is hydrops fetalis.
