The abnormal expression of CREB has been confirmed to be related to the occurrence of central nervous system diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, and vascular dementia [35, 36] In our study, repressed cAMP/CREB signaling was observed in SHR rats, also claimed by Goel in LPS-treated SHR rats [37]. The gene discussed is CREB1; the disease is central nervous system disorder.
