Prior research has shown that the long noncoding RNA HOTAIR promotes the stemness of breast cancer cells through activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway [37], β-Catenin and NF-κB co-activation triggered by TLR3 stimulation facilitates stem cell-like phenotypes in breast cancer [45], and AXL induces epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and regulates the function of breast cancer stem cells via activating NF-κB signaling pathway [46]. This evidence concerns the gene TLR3 and breast carcinoma.
