TRIM52 is upregulated in hepatitis B virus‐associated hepatocellular carcinoma, and the upregulation of HBV X protein induces the activation of NF‐κB signalling to increase the expression of TRIM52 in HepG2 cells, which in turn promotes the proliferation of HepG2 cells.33 This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
