CD4 and Hepatic steatosis: Liver fibrosis progression in PWH and HBV co-infection on HBV-active ART has been associated with age,9,13,15,19 male sex,5,13,15 lower CD4+ T-cells,9,13,19 lower nadir CD4+ T-cells,5 longer ART duration,19 HBV genotype G,9 higher fasting glycemia or anemia5 and hepatic steatosis,17 whilst fibrosis regression has been associated with lower BMI,9,14 higher CD4+ T-cells5,9,14 higher HBV viral load (VL) at first TE,11 suppressed HIV VL15 and lower fasting triglycerides.5
