Notably, the reverse mode of Na+/Ca2+ exchanger (NCX) was augmented (∼8%) in ischemia (Fig. S16), which also contributes to CaT elevation, and this is in accord with the data reported for Langendorff-perfused mice hearts (Imahashi et al., 2005) in ischemic conditions.
