YEATS4 and neoplasm: Consistent with the results obtained from H460 cells-derived xenograft tumors (Fig. 6d), GAS41 knockout indeed increased the lipid peroxidation level compared with the GAS41 intact group (Fig. 6h, i); in contrast, ferrostain-1 completely eliminated the upregulation of lipid peroxidation induced by the deficiency of GAS41, indicating that ferroptotic cell death contributes to GAS41 deficit-induced tumor suppression.
