MX2 and infection: Finally, similar to MX2T151A, MX2T151D inhibited HIV-1WT infection in the presence of CsA as well as infection of HIV-1G89V CA, demonstrating that phosphorylation at residue T151 does not determine CA-CypA-dependent antiviral activity of MX2 since MX2T151A and MX2T151D exhibited a similar phenotype.
